Fundraising

Fundraising is an ongoing activity for East Clayton! A major part of the funding will be provided by a Housing Association, but there is still a defecit of £100,000. This shortfall needs to be met by donations and fundraising activities.

Successful fundraising so far includes the completion of the Plymouth Banjul Challenge by Robin Hobson and Andy Sharpe. They drove their 23 year old Ford Fiesta (Fifi) 2000 miles to the Gambia and raised £60,000 for East Clayton. We want to express our grateful thanks to all those generous people who sponsored them and helped raised this substantial amount. Thanks also to Mike Brady from HSBC ran the 2007 London marathon and donated his £2000 sponsorship money to the farm.
